Immunisations

Immunisation is a simple and effective way of protecting yourself and your family. Make an appointment at our clinic for COVID-19 or flu shots. We can also provide immunisations for:

715 Health Checks

The Annual 715 Health Check is specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It helps keep our people healthy by identifying risks early to prevent chronic conditions from developing.

The 715 Health Check is a bulk-billed service and you are encouraged to have your check every 9-12 months. At your appointment, your Aboriginal Health Practitioner will:

  • Check your blood pressure
  • Check blood sugar levels
  • Measure your height and weight
  • Do a blood test
  • Do a urine test
  • Talk to you about dietary and health priorities and goals

After this appointment, you may require follow up care and your health worker will refer you to a specialist if required.

Booking Process

  • Monday – Friday
  • 9:00am – 10am: reserved for pre-booked appointments
  • 10am – 12:30pm: open for on the day bookings
  • 2:00pm – 4:00pm: reserved for pre-booked appointments

For earlier appointments, call us from 8:30am to see if any book-on-the-day appointments are available, if you would like to get in earlier.

Cancellation Policy

Please let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Transport Support

RivMed can provide transport and taxi vouchers to help current patients attend appointments. Please ask reception for more information.
