RivMed’s Allied Health Workers
At RivMed, we employ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers and practitioners who provide culturally safe clinical services. When you visit the clinic, you can request to see an Aboriginal health worker or have an Aboriginal Allied Health Worker present at your GP and specialist appointments.
Our Allied Health Workers can help you take care of your physical or mental health, providing services that include diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation.
MOICD Program
RivMed operates in a rural region and provides the Medical Outreach Indigenous Chronic Diseases Program to ensure our patients and community can access services, even if that includes travelling to specialists.
Through the MOICD Program, we ensure our community has access to health professionals by bringing them to the community.
