We provide a wide range of dental services at our RivMed Clinic, staffed with trained professionals, including General Dentists, Dental Assistants, and an Oral Health Therapist.
RivMed offers Dental & Oral Health services to community members of all ages, including children from as little as 1-year-old. Our goal is to reduce the disparities in the oral health status of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by delivering primary preventative care and increase access to oral health services in our community.
Though RivMed is a bulk-billed service, there are some dental services which incur a fee. In the case of a fee-based treatment, you will receive a quote. Quotes are valid for 3 months. if it has been more than 3 months, you will need to come back to RivMed for another assessment and quote.
Services that are bulk billed:
Adults:
- Routine Examination - Check-ups, x-rays, Scale and clean
- Preventative treatment - Fillings, Fissure Sealants, Prophylaxis treatments
- Extractions (excluding impacted wisdom teeth)
- Root Canal Treatment - (front teeth only)
Children
- Routine Examination - Check-ups, x-rays, Scale and clean
- Preventative treatment - Fillings, Fissure Sealants, Prophylaxis treatments
- Extractions
- Stainless Steel Crowns

Operating hours of the Dental clinic:
- Monday: 9:30am – 9:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:30am – 5:00pm
- Wednesday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Thursday: 6:00pm – 9:00pm
- Friday: 9:30am – 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am – 12:00pm

Cancellation Policy
Transport Support
- Rivmed can provide transport to and from dental appointments
- Taxi vouchers are available for clients to attend their dental appointments, speak with reception for more information
